We are looking for Student Ambassadors to represent Sweat Like A Girl who can promote a strong, healthy and positive vibe with their peer groups and beyond.
With so much mis-information on social media, this program will teach teenage girls the basics of fitness, the basics of healthy eating, and basics for feeling their best emotionally. All of this knowledge will lead to a higher level of self confidence and positive body image. Our hope is to create strong teenage girls who will spread the message of self love through a strong foundation of wellness.
This 3 week program will meet on Sundays from 11-1. Each session will include information on three key components: 1. Fitness, ranging from learning the proper form of exercises to the use of the TRX, indoor cycles and weight equipment, 2. Healthy Eating, including understanding the importance of eating whole foods opposed to proccessed foods and understanding that food is what fuels our mind and body, and 3. Emotional Fitness, including the idea of self love, being kind to oneself and others and openly discussing the effects of social media on our self worth and how to rise above.
