Please Read ALL of the Policies -Studio, Polefit and Babysitting
STUDIO POLICIES
· Please try to arrive to class on time.
· Upon arrival to LVSA-please see the front desk and give your name. You will then receive your “ticket” to take class. The Instructors will collect “tickets” at the beginning of class-no one without a ticket will be permitted to stay for class.
· If possible please bring your own yoga/exercise mat, we have a limited supply of mats to borrow.
· If your street shoes are exceptionally dirty or wet, please remove them before walking into the studio.
POLEFIT POLICIES
· What to wear for a Polefit class? Workout apparel, shorts, bare feet or sneakers; no heels please. (pants are not a good choice as you cannot grip the pole with your legs)
· Please DO NOT WEAR LOTION to class and REMOVE ALL JEWELRY ON HANDS AND WRISTS!
· After your Polefit class, please CLEAN YOUR POLE with the rubbing alcohol provided for you.
· Polefit classes are offered to those 18 years and older only. No spectators or visitors are allowed to attend any class or pole party, there are no exceptions to this rule.
· Be sure to call to reserve you spot in Polefit classes. You can call 24 hours in advance. 610-264-2208
· If you cannot make the class you have reserved, you must call within 2 hours of the class to ensure you the class will not be deducted from your class card.
· If you have reserved a spot for class and do not call to cancel, and do not show up, a class will be deducted from your virtual class pass or you will be charged $12 for the class if you are on EFT.
· To increase your grip strength for our Polefit classes, squeeze a stress/tennis ball.
· Please remember to proceed at your own pace and do not exceed your current capability. Polefit is a challenging activity, and it takes time to build up the strength to do some of the tricks and spins we teach. Injury can result from doing too much too fast. Also, do not attempt any spins or maneuvers before you have thoroughly warmed up your muscles, and then only under instructor supervision. Inverted positions are never to be done without instruction or an instructor supervising and spotting your moves.
· Please do not attend a Polefit class if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant. Also, check with a physician before taking classes if you have recently given birth. Three months is usually a sufficient amount of time to wait after giving birth, but each woman is different.
· Be supportive of every student in the class. Pole Fitness encourages a mutually supportive and caring environment, and we appreciate your cooperation.
